If we, as humans have the capacity to create our own Hell on earth, then surely God has given us the ability to create our own Heaven on earth.

Love one another; seek and ye shall find; do unto others as I have done unto you; knock and it shall be opened unto you. Are these just words or are they the some of the keys and clues that He gave us to be with Him always? I’m certain that in ANY faith, these words are as valid as any in empowering us to living a Heavenly life.

I am a believer and a Christian but I am not a religious zealot. I do not preach but I try to use the love and time God has given me in a way that does Him proud and that makes ME feel good. One of the things that makes me feel good is to see others smile and laugh and love. More importantly, I feel good when I feel right within myself.

I reconcile my life with the knowledge that, because of, and despite, my experiences, I am a stronger and more loving human being. I try to make no judgements; I try not to use my anger in a destructive way; I try to allow my experiences to teach what is right and wrong; I try always to use what I feel to help - and if that help is for me, so be it.

My friends - look around. Look at friendship, laughter, love - and every thing about us. Look at my grandchildren… I ask you: Is this part of God’s Heaven or are we so selfish, blind and hopeless that all we see is Hell?
