Buahrangers Revetment: Poety and Stories by Vietnam Veteran, Anthony W. Pahl and friends

Respectfully given and proudly received.
Words from the heart can never deceive
Opening the barriers of times from the past
Talking of legacies so memories can last
Senses now stagger and reel with the truth
Incomprehensible by all age’s youth.

Glossy and unreal, a dimension of pain
photos and stories are all that remain
We who remember and relive where we've been
Are obliged to record and recall all we've seen

Our successors must never experience a war
Never fight! Never kill! Never see what we saw.
Our words must relate the horror and fate
of a generation of outcasts remembered too late.
