| I use a thesaurus and dictionary too but when I write the words that you view, they must tickle my heart more than my mind else we both may as just as well be blind. For the poetry that escapes my song filled soul needs knowledge of nothing to explode into the light of now from the darkest past; certainly no term that I have failed to grasp. Any unfortunate who chances upon my lines has no need of the elegance of educated refine because my scribble will still be understood for that which is from the heart is good. But if a soulless scholar should reject my words, I care not, for my words are as soulful birds. ©Anthony W. Pahl 31 May 2002 |
