Buahrangers Revetment: Poety and Stories by Vietnam Veteran, Anthony W. Pahl and friends

Bushranger's Revetment - Poetry and Stories by Vietnam Veteran, Anthony W. (Bushranger) Pahl and friends

As we feel the years pass us on by
sadness comes and we wonder why.
I think it’s because we fail to see
joy of life as it’s meant to be.
We cannot rewind the hands of time;
we sure can’t get what’s left behind.
But we can and should remember when
we laughed and cried and made a friend.
Holding dear the things that we have now
is cause for gladness, not a scowl.
And one great thing that we really have
is memory of good times and bad.
And memories are what life’s about;
they make us who we are no doubt.
So reminisce with great joy and thought,
be glad for all your childhood brought.
