Why do I feel such pain?
Why can’t I see Your plan?
What is it I must do to even have a clue?

Will I ever know?
Is this pain to help me grow?
Are you next to me but I just cannot see?

Reveal the reason why
my daughter has to cry.
She is my little girl and the centre of my world.

Please take away the hurt.
Please reinforce my worth.
Please help me understand the purpose of Your plan.
