Buahrangers Revetment: Poety and Stories by Vietnam Veteran, Anthony W. Pahl and friends

Bushranger's Revetment - Poetry and Stories by Vietnam Veteran, Anthony W. (Bushranger) Pahl and friends

I touched; I remembered heroes so brave
so many veterans so many names.
How can I tell you the words I feel
paralyzed in thought here as I kneel?

So many friends, fathers and sons
lost in a war that could not be won.
I honor you for your great deeds;
your bravery in which I shall always feed
knowledge of what you have bared
touching your names showing I care
those who returned will always be scared
for the cost of our freedom forever marred

My face dampened from all the tears
as I remember you year after year
this memorial glows day after day
a shinning light that will never fade
from this wall you shall never fall

Today my friends, “I touched your wall”
