Buahrangers Revetment: Poety and Stories by Vietnam Veteran, Anthony W. Pahl and friends

Charles J. Ingerson : Bushranger's Revetment - Poetry and Stories by Vietnam Veteran, Anthony W. (Bushranger) Pahl and friends

Delicate spears of grass
with flowers in bloom
as once an army did pass
all life to then consume.

Somehow one day returning
where the sunlight was seen
re-growing life from the burning
now always fragrances to glean.

Expressions of love and sorrow,
tears, whispers, secrets to share
bearing, naked our skills flower
when least we think to care.

Stoically our efforts conclude
the worst and best of life
entrapped and embraced, shared
amid more and more timeless strife.

Thus a thank you for your time,
sharing a pebble to polish
found in love and sorrow’s line
memories never to abolish.
