Buahrangers Revetment: Poety and Stories by Vietnam Veteran, Anthony W. Pahl and friends

Pahl and Preston : Bushranger's Revetment - Poetry and Stories by Vietnam Veteran, Anthony W. (Bushranger) Pahl and friends

Two different soldiers fought the same war;
one from down under, one from the north.
They trod the same soil but at different times;
one barely speaks English, the other speaks Strine.

One was a gunner the other a grunt.
Both lives were changed on the battlefield front.
Both were in Nam but in different years.
Both men survived; both have the same fears.

They have never met face to face
but they share a bond no-one can replace.
Brothers of blood, sweat and many tears
seasoned with honor down through the years.

Two Soldiers of war an ocean apart;
but I thank God when we met
we met from the heart…

We both have Soul mates
who have salvaged our lives;
Maria and Nancy,
Thank God for our wives!

For Bushranger… My best mate!
