Buahrangers Revetment: Poety and Stories by Vietnam Veteran, Anthony W. Pahl and friends

Wars are such that
scenes become etched in pain
to stay now… and forever
planted on the mind’s fertile plain
in the memories of those who remain
So many men have fought and died
leaving places where they did abide…
… never returning again
Giving their all
beside brothers who came home…
and then…
whose duty it is… to recall
Such is one who labors into the night
… giving his time that these soldiers
not vanish from sight
Memorials… he puts down in honored word…
to leave for generations
who have not yet heard… of the brave men
who fought… side by side
to assure that no unsung died
in Vietnam’s bloody tide…
