The snowflakes danced and pirouetted to the ground
Christmas carols played in my head with nary a sound
For a moment it seemed the world stood still
The wonder of it all, I still can feel.
It’s Christmas.Tall and fragrant is the pine
Dressed with old ornaments I look and find
Baby’s first Christmas and others too
My sisters and I each have a few.
It’s Christmas. The presents all wrapped and under the tree
There are some for you and some for me
I relive the excitement I felt as a child
It’s something that never goes out of style.
It’s Christmas.Tinsel, twinkle lights, and mistletoe
Bedeck our windows and walls to show
We have the spirit, it’s here you see
It doesn’t cost, I think it’s free.
It’s Christmas.Dinner at my aunt’s house can be a feat
There are lots of presents and lots to eat
My uncle always makes me laugh
He’s like a jolly Santa, but not that fat.
It’s ChristmasThe aroma of food wafts under my nose
Dad breaks the wafer and everyone knows
We wish each other good health and cheer
Not just for today, but for the New Year.
It’s Christmas. The church decorated in a grand display
Baby Jesus placed in the manger on hay
Peace on Earth, Good Will to Men
And for now the world is free from sin.
It’s Christmas.O Holy Night, I fall on my knees
The birth of our Lord, the meaning to be
The reason for the season
Thy will be done.
It’s Christmas. We greet our priest, neighbors and friends
Oh happy feeling that never ends
The air is crisp and the sky is clear
I’m with my family whom I hold dear.
It’s Christmas.I drift off to sleep this wondrous night
My heart is filled with joyous delight
My wish to all as I turn off the light
Merry Christmas To All and
To All a Good Night.
