Buahrangers Revetment: Poety and Stories by Vietnam Veteran, Anthony W. Pahl and friends

The world is forever moving
And our lives had stopped still
Day after day we came to work
Each one of us knew the drill.

All of us played a part
In keeping things going
But change was inevitable
It came without knowing.

Change affects each one of us
All in different ways
But we gather strength from within
Helping to carry us through these days.

Now change is not a bad thing
New horizons are in our midst
Challenges there to greet us
For opportunities should not be missed.

Do not fear the change occurring
For you are smart and brave
To do your best and feel you did
Is something you all gave.

And when we’ll reminisce
We recall each one by name
For life as we all knew it
Was a life that had to change.
